2D game art & illustration
Hi, I'm Sophie Ellen, published illustrator and 2D games artist based in the UK.
My most recently published title is Cinder Cone Games' 'Skeleton Crew' (2021), on which I worked as an environment artist.
Prior to working in the games industry, I attended University of the Arts London to study Make-up & Prosthetics for Performance, and whilst there cultivated a love of character design and world building.
Upon graduating with 1st class BA Honours I set out to pursue a career in video games & illustration.

After receiving specialist atelier training in the fine arts at London Fine Art Studios in '15, I began my career in video games in the following year at The Secret Police, working on 'Dragon's Watch', an Apple featured mobile RPG, and have loved working in the space ever since.
